Engagement with the Talent Pool
India Power’s campus engagement initiative took a leap with the launch of ‘UDAAN’ in 2017, a program designed exclusively to provide opportunity to engineers from leading engineering colleges in India to build their career with the organization.
UDAAN stands for Undaunted challenges, Destined to lead, Agile, Adoptive and Newer Heights. The program is focussed towards taking graduate trainees (GTs) through a yearlong structured training program that ensures an exhaustive learning experience through introduction to the company’s vision, mission, objectives, classroom training, on-job-training and a series of team building, trust building and soft skill development exercises through adventure trips and assessment centres.
Application Screening – The application form seeks information about your academia, career
contour, family and personal data. The form also contains some open ended questions through
which we try to understand your career interests and expectations better. The applications
screening is done by carefully evaluating your details against the job specifications for the
Preliminary Assessment – If you are shortlisted in the screening stage, you move to the next level
which is preliminary assessment. At this stage you will be taken through multiple rounds which
may include written test(s), presentation(s), Psychometric assessments depending on the type of
job requirement. This helps us to figure out your domain knowledge, technical competence and
other professional attributes which are ‘must haves’ for the job role.
Final Assessment – If you are shortlisted in the preliminary assessment, you move to the final
